I'm no pro, but I'm not a complete noob either. Just remember if you see my car on the street, be a little more wary.
Having driven only a short road to Ulu Langat for my driving tests and such, and around the housing area near my place, I've never really driven anywhere. What we did today was drive down to Pasar Seni. By the way, my (first) car is a Proton Satria Neo 1.6 manual, and it's not actually new - it had a previous owner. To be honest I'd much rather drive an auto, but after waiting for so long for the car, I don't give two damns about what car I'm driving as long as it moves and is not held together by dirt and grease.
So. I drove all the way there, then walked around the Petaling Street area (finally got a magnifying make-up mirror and some really nice earrings from a rattan craft store). Had some really nice beef noodles at Lai Foong Restaurant (forgot to take picture *facepalm*) then headed to campus to return some long overdue library books.
From there drove all the way home, with dad nagging all the way. I know that usually all the nagging is years and years of golden experience, but then could you please just let me slowly get the hang of the bloody car first before you keep rushing me to do stuff? He keeps rushing and rushing but then tells me to take my time and no one's rushing me.
Pics of the haul stuff and my new car up soon. Kinda busy with finals studying now. Remind me to go back on my hiatus if I post anything.
Well, the nagging should soon stop. Just keep driving. Little by little, you'll be able to convince your dad about your driving skills. Try hard to focus and not let the nagging get to you.
