Vanity review

I've got loads of stuff in my make-up stash, and now it's time to get rid of those items that are no longer usable. Make-up products are like food: they have an expiry date, but most of us try to use it as long as possible for economic purposes. I'm one of those.

With a difference, however. Many of my first make-up items were given to me by relatives.

#1
BOBBI BROWN LONGWEAR GEL EYELINER IN SEPIA INK

Reason: Formula has completely dried out.

#2
BIOTHERM WHITE DETOX BIO-A[2] WHITENING PEN IMMEDIATE SPOT CORRECTOR

Reason: It's supposed to be a concealer, but it blends out either cakey or into nothing. The tone doesn't match any patch of my skin, either.

#3
OPERA VOLUME CONTROL MASCARA

Reason: Formula completely dried out. Any formula that can be applied is clumpy.

#4
MAYBELLINE VOLUM' EXPRESS HYPERCURL CAT EYES WATERPROOF MASCARA IN FELINE BLACK

Reason: Formula is extremely clumpy, and drying up.

#5
REVLON DOUBLE TWIST MASCARA IN BLACKEST BLACK

Reason: Formula resembles more of congealed glue than mascara.

#6
THE FACE SHOP SHIMMER LINER PENCIL IN WHITE

Reason: Product hasn't finished, but the product in it's plastic capsule is stuck and I have no idea how to get it out. I tried whacking the whole thing on the edge of the table a few times and it's visible that there's more product down there, but this liner has been with me for around two years and it's almost never been used.
