1. When did you start putting on makeup?

I can't exactly pinpoint the exact moment I began putting on make-up. I remember my mum dolling me up for a photo-shoot before, using just some of her eyeliner and muted red lipstick.


I think the time I really started to wear make-up (by myself) is when I started my first job at my aunt's office. I got the look tutorial from a Chinese magazine - it was an all-brown natural day look, using a burnt orange as a base, a light brown for the inner corners and dark brown for the outer corners.


I usually made this look more gothic than it should have been because I tended to overuse the dark colors. From then on I started experimenting, finding Haze Long's blog first (formerly known as blushberry.blogspot.com), then slowly going through magazines, and YouTube make-up tutorials.
