Undang?

Woke up at around 7am this morning after only around 4 hours of sleep. And I didn't prepare enough for what was about to happen - highway code exam a.k.a undang exam. I hadn't studied in weeks and I couldn't remember anything that I read. I was running late and forgot 3 things - cash, camera and blusher.

Upon arriving at the dinghy office in Taman Billion, Cheras, we all sat down doing last-minute studies. I stopped at question number 215 'cause I was falling asleep. Eventually my name was called upon and I was sent into the exam room, booth number 6.

After 9 minutes and 49 seconds, I exited the exam room with a huge grin on my face - I PASSED! Though only just. The passing mark is 42 over 50. So guess what mark I got? XD

Anyways right after we got back to the Seri Petaling office, I headed to the Bukit Jalil LRT station, meeting some pretty annoying guys doing commission-based jobs on the way. Upon arriving at the Bandar Tasik Selatan station I saw my dear there and everything just went away~ =)

The initial plan was to watch Black Swan, but by the time we got there the movie already started. So we went for Drive Angry after a speedy trip to McD's. XD The movie was violent, sexually explicit and revolting, but I was resting my head on his shoulder, my hand in his and his blazer over me.

He walked me home, right up to the door. I don't think I've felt so attached to any boyfriend before, and everything goes naturally with him. Silent moments aren't as awkward as we're both mainly silent people and we just enjoy each other's company. When I'm tired and down, the only person in my mind is him; when I find something that is cute, interesting, or when I get good news, the first person I want to share it with is him.

He may not be perfect, but hey, who is? He's practically perfect for me - he's sensitive, loving, and almost everything a girl would want in a guy. And we share mutual interests, which is the thing that made us know each other in the first place. All I know now is that I love him to bits. =)

Lalala~

The post was supposed to be titled 'Spending spree' and stuffed with stuff about my day out at MV, but I couldn't bring myself to complete the goddamn post. Why? Because after calculating everything, I'm short of RM50 a.k.a RM50 is missing. I searched every where, recalculated numerous times, but still ...

Anyways I'm still gonna blog about the spending spree, along with some other info. =P I took half a day's leave for this shopping spree initially, but I took the rest of the day off in the end. Why? Because I'm too chicken to go home by myself while my friends watch a movie. I also almost died worrying myself about how I was to explain this to my mom. =P

Anyways here's what I bought:
  1. Mum's surprise (and expensive) birthday present - L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil
  2. Extreme latte (the buy one free one) at San Francisco Coffee
  3. A thank you card and a birthday card from Memory Lane
  4. A Hotlink SIM card
  5. Pink headphones from a stall called The Marker
  6. The A.N.Jell Pig Rabbit 35cm stuffed toy from Presents4Them
  7. 3D movie tickets for The Green Hornet, which was a complete waste of my money
  8. A chocolate waffle cake from Nelson's just before heading home

The MAIN objective was not fulfilled, which is ... a secret. =P But I've been pulling my hair out and killing all my brain cells just because of it.

In total I spent RM146+, and I brought around 200 with me. So now RM50 is missing 'cause all I have left is around 2 bucks (which sucks).

* * *

Yesterday's work was like punishing me for taking a day off and lying - the people were pouring in!!! All at one time!!! Last time before I worked there the superiors called Tinh, now they call me, which adds to the extra load.

The good news is, I'm getting familiar with the kitchen staff! I have finally identified all of them by face and name. Vin is the one with gold hair, Sao is the tiny but mighty one, D.B.S is the big Nepalese guy, Hoan is the guy with the mole (=P) and Lian is the one who usually does the sandwiches and the only female in the kitchen.

Since I have more contact with Raymond and Tinh, I'm closer to them than to the others, and laugh about stuff. It may not look it, but Tinh is actually the oldest of the three of us. Raymond is 19, I'm 18 and she's 24.

One thing's for sure I'm gonna go back there even after finishing my work. Since I know roughly when the restaurant would be fairly empty, I'll just go around that time so that they can rest and at the same time I can try out the things on the menu that I'm so curious about. XD

Another thing's for sure, I'm gonna miss them when I've stopped working. I've always judged foreigners before, 'cause some of the encounters with them were pretty nasty, but after working with so many for so long (if you think 3 weeks is long), I've come to learn that people aren't always as they seem.

* * *

My dear's having his resit tests tomorrow, and I've set up to boycott him till he finishes so that he can concentrate better. Sometimes I feel like a failure of a girlfriend - he's down, he's frustrated, he's pissed, and I really dunno what to do to cheer him up.

* * *

28th I'm having my undang test, and I'm gonna die 'cause I haven't studied in like 2 weeks. Anyways if I get to go home early I hope I can squeeze in a movie with dear on the same day. It's been a while since our last date. ♥

I have a couple of movies which I'm dying to watch - Black Swan (Natalie Portman) and Burlesque (Cher and Christina Aguilera). Both of which are showing at around the same time on 28th, but I booked Black Swan 'cause I don't think my dear would be interested in musicals, especially if it involves burlesque. =X

Anyways I've always been thinking about what might happen in our relationship during my college years. He still has around a year and a half and god know's how long mine is gonna last. I just hope this will last for a lifetime.

All in a day's work

Business is slow these days, there are even some days when there aren't any people at all for a few hours at a time. I guess being a waitress is hard - when there aren't any people you die of boredom, when there are people you die from rushing everywhere trying to split yourself in a few.

Today was one of the 'no people' days, where there wasn't anyone from around 4pm-7pm. I think I failed to introduce my restaurant staff. XD

  • MANAGER: Mr. Tan
  • GENERAL MANAGER (GM): Emily [Taiwanese]
  • SHAREHOLDER (I think): Karen
  • BARMAN: Ramesh / Raymond / Ramen (every one calls him differently =P) [Nepalese]
  • WAITRESSES: Tinh [Vietnamese] & moi
  • KITCHEN CREW: uhh, I only know some of their names, and they're a mix of Vietnamese and Nepalese people

Ramesh and Tinh are the two who does practically everything in the restaurant, including their own job. The only few from the kitchen I know are Sao, Vin (nice ass guy XDXDXD) and Lian. Basically all of them are really nice, friendly people, the only thing is that we have the language barrier. They only know bits and pieces of English and/or BM and/or Chinese and sometimes they speak with a rather heavy accent.

NEVERTHELESS! I shan't be down, 'cause we're on speak-and-laugh terms now. XD At least I think we are. I'd like to think so anyways. I would say my manager has a rather ... interesting taste in shirts. The first week I worked there he wore normal white shirts (the same one) and jeans, recently he's been appearing in beach shorts and slippers.

And the sexiest ass award goes to ... VIN! 'Cause he really does have a sexy ass. =x It's hard not to notice especially when he's wearing fitting jeans (D&G) and has his ass facing the food window. I think he just got his salary recently, 'cause he's got a haircut and some new accessories, punk-rocker style~

Back to today. The 3-hour stretch between 4-7pm was seriously silent. Karen was on her laptop (HP mini), the dining area staff (Ramesh, Tinh & myself) were sitting around. Here's what happened:

All three of us were actually sleeping at the same time for some time, until I decided to do a 'market survey' of the entire block. There were not many people at Shapa Shapa Shabu, but more were at Drinks.

* * *

My favorite hotpot restaurant is (was) Tasty Hotpot near SMK Seri Saujana. My mom told me that they had moved from there to a block away from where I work with a new restaurant name: SOULAR Steamboat and Ramen. Though under the same management (lengzai Francis), the porridge base is gone and the taste has deteriorated.

Revenue~

BLOODY HELL I'M RICH!!!

In a matter of speaking, that is.

I've finally opened all my angpaus from CNY and everything totals up to ...

...

...

wait for it

...

RM1037 + S$50!!!

Last year's revenue wasn't as much, plus my salary from work ... Imagine.

I will work at the very least 40 days at Taiwan DAMI for RM40 per day (10 hours), so I would have a minimum salary of RM1600! Having a RM30 weekly allowance in Form 5, saving up at least RM200 was an achievement, especially with all the impulse shopping, 'illegal' trips and food expeditions. =P

My revenue + salary is actually almost sufficient for me to get a Nokia N97 or Sony Ericsson Aino already, but what I want right now is a simple touchscreen phone (QWERTY keypad preferred, but I can live without it). My budget is under RM1000, which is why I'm searching for a Nokia C6.

But first! To convert my Celcom line into a Maxis line, just so I can save money and still keep in touch with my dear~ I went to the Maxis Center in Endah Parade this morning but the lady kept mumbling to me, but basically she said that the outlet doesn't do things like this yet, and it had something to do with prepaid and postpaid plans. ==

He suggested to get a new number, but I can't have 3 phones all at once. Having two of them is already a party, having three would be a crowd. It would also be costly to have to maintain three SIM cards at a time. The next nearest Maxis Center is in ... OUG. T_T How the hell am I supposed to get there when I work practically 24/7?

Anyways I already asked Yen to help me ask at Endah Parade again. If it still doesn't work, I'm gonna have to ask for a day's leave or ask someone else to help me get it done.

So ... any handphone recommendations? My objectives: touchscreen preferably with a separate keypad, noted brand (Nokia or Sony Ericsson), good speakers, >5 mega pixel camera, minimum 2GB of expandable capacity (microSD) and under RM1000 (RM800 would be preferable).

* * *

This is just a random picture. It's Valentine's and every special occasion, my phone will automatically change the wallpaper for a day according to the occasion, e.g. Christmas, New Year, etc.

UPDATE: My actual total revenue is RM1021 including all the little bits and pieces from friends of relatives.

Valentine's

I sure hope that my workplace won't be packed with couples tomorrow, 'cause it will make me feel awfully lonely. With my work (I can't very well take so many days of leave when I just start) and stupid curfew, I couldn't get time to go out with him, so now my dear is slow-cooking in Ipoh. =x

I really don't understand some people - they just do what they want without thinking of the ripples of their decisions. Do you know how many children suffer just because their parents can't get along? And even if they do get a divorce, some of them don't talk to each other, even for the sake of the children.

I know I'm not in the place to say anything about this topic, as I don't know any of these people, and who am I to butt into something that has nothing to do with me. Plus, my parents are still together, I don't know anything about how the children feel.

I don't understand how a father can ask his son to avoid seeing his mother; and his mother asking the son to leave his father and stay with her in the future. Do you know what a huge dilemma this is for the son? He loves both his parents, but both parents don't want him to see the other parent.

Growing up halfway with only a dad without any siblings is lonely, and with those absurd requests can drive one mad. I really hope his parents will stop their bickering one day and give their son a rest.

The CNY makeup post XD

I basically wore two types of makeup to two different CNY events for 2011, each being somewhat the opposite of each other - one is colorful and upbeat, the other is dark and dramatic.

RAINBOW EYES (REVISED VERSION)

Products used:
  1. Vaseline as base for yellow
  2. shu uemura Cream Eyeshadow in Beige
  3. Shade 57 {brown} from 120 palette for brow defining
  4. Shade 79 {bright yellow} from 120 palette for inner corners
  5. Shade 68 {bright orange} from 120 palette on center of lids
  6. Shade 46 {red-toned pink shimmer} from 120 palette for outer corners and crease
  7. Shade 98 {pale lime green} from 120 palette on the inner lower lashline (blend with yellow)
  8. Shade 16 {bright turquoise shimmer} from 120 palette for the outer lower lashline
  9. Shade 28 {deep royal purple} from 120 palette for the wing
  10. TheFaceShop Lovely Me:Ex Auto Eyeliner in White (waterline)
  11. Elianto Stay-On Liquid Eyeliner in Black
  12. MaxFactor False Lash Effect mascara in black
  13. Silkygirl Moisture Rich Lipstick in Playful {berry pink}
  14. Concealer and powder foundation
  15. Bobbi Brown Powder Blush in Blushed {pink with brown undertone}
  16. Blincon Sweetie Green circle lenses
Remember to blend everything nicely, using a clean brush. And use clean brushes to apply every different color, as any pigment residue on the brush will alter the tone and color of the shadow. What you can do is have a couple of cosmetic wipes ready and just wipe them gently on the wipe every time you're done with one color.

As for the wing, it was actually an last-minute decision. The theme was 'rainbow' and I didn't know where to put the purple (it just fades as eyeliner), so I just grabbed my angled brush and 'whoosh'! It was the finishing touch, though~

This look was actually partially inspired by MakeupPiggy's lizard makeup (it's a pretty old but cool look), especially the wing part. The scent of the day was Versace Bright Crystal.

* * *

DRAMATIC CLUBBING MAKEUP

Products used:
  1. Shade 7 {dark gunmetal} for brow definition
  2. Shade 8 {dark gunmetal} for lash line area, 1/3 of outer lower lashline and wing (use angled brush)
  3. Shade 105 {cobalt blue shimmer} for lid area (blend with black)
  4. Shade 3 {champagne} under brow bone as highlight
  5. Revlon Liquid Eye Pen in Black (to darken and define wing) [layer shade 8 over]
  6. TheFaceShop Lovely Me:Ex Auto Eyeliner in White (inner corner)
  7. Elianto Stay-On Pencil Eyeliner in Black (upper and lower lash and waterline)
  8. Lancome Hypnose + MaxFactor False Lash Effect mascara (both black)
  9. Bobbi Brown Powder Blush in Blushed (for contour)
  10. Powder foundation
  11. Lipbalm/Vaseline + powder for pale, matte lips
  12. Blincon Sweetie Green circle lenses
This was another 'throw-together' creation inspired by Michelle Phan's clubbing makeup. It was originally just the wing, but then I added some blue to give it a hint of color. =)

One thing I could've done was clean up the edges with some white shadow - I was itchy handed and used some liquid liner to define the wings when I haven't done anything like that in my life before, and it was pretty messy. =P That's why I layered on the dark gunmetal shadow to soften the line a tad.

Despite being less than satisfied with my look (it was waayyyy too dramatic for the event), I got many compliments on it. In fact I got lots of compliments for both looks~ Which also means that my skills are improving~ The scent of the evening was Ferragamo Incanto Shine.

Uhhh...

I timed my piercing, I forgot to time my lenses - yes I got pretty lenses that last for 3 months, but for most of the two months wearing them to work would be just adding to the work load. =x

Work is getting tiresome especially without the GM around - the marketing manager at my place doesn't help much. She does take one or two plates once every hour, but that's it. Whereas Tinh and I do everything.

We had a new guy come in today, but he left as fast as he came. He calls himself Sky, supposedly from Myanmar, and wears gold watches and uses a Blackberry. The reason for his resignation? The job was too tedious, especially the sweeping and mopping part. Fuck him.

I miss my dear so much. All day at work I wanna hold his hand, hug him, have him beside me. All day I wait for him to make a surprise visit. ><

Work

I'm currently working 10 hours a day as a waitress at a restaurant called Taiwan DAMI on Jalan Radin Bagus, Seri Petaling. I start at 12.30pm, and finish at 10.30pm. The few hours in between allow me just enough time for baths, simple meals and sufficient sleep (though I'm not sleeping well lately).

Life since Feb 7th is deeply contrasting to the days before - previously I would wake up, get a bite of something, switch on the PC then sit there until night. Now? I wake up at 11am, clean up a bit, have something to drink and get a banana, then head out to work. Until 10.30, I go home, bathe, bitch about my day then go to sleep.

Technically speaking, I'm working 7 days a week unless I ask for leave, which I have for this Saturday so that I can go for my driving test. I'm gonna miss out on a lot for this, especially the upcoming mojito open house at Tropicana tomorrow.

I used to check up on blog and Facebook updates every single or alternate day, and this is the first time in many months that I left Facebook and my blog abandoned for such a long time. =P

Anyways, I'll be on a semi-complete blog hiatus from now on, depending on whether I feel like blogging or not. As for Facebook and Twitter, they are updated practically daily via DiGi SMS. Speaking of DiGi, does anyone know where's the Maxis Center closest to Seri Petaling? I wanna change my Celcom to Maxis. =x

I actually haven't worked like this in my entire life - anytime I'm told to do tedious housework, I only get to do ONE type, as opposed to now, I have my duties divided between my co-worker and me, and even so, the work is like OMG, especially during lunch hour and the dinner rush.

I hate it when parents bring those brats with them and just allow them to do whatever shit they want to, then have us clean up after those brats later. The noise is one thing, the cleaning up is another. Then there are those inconsiderate rich bitches with over-penciled brows and gazillion tons of makeup who don't bother to budge even when hot stuff is coming.

There are also the assholes who flick their cigarette ashes every where except in the pristine ashtray on the table. Fuck them. And those who take the time to dress up nicely then smoke like a typical prostitute on the streets.

Anyways, I quote my aunt 'it takes all to make the world', though I hate that it also takes assholes and certain bitches to complete the world.

Also, Taiwan DAMI is in need of extra employees (whether they admit to it or not). If you're interested, please proceed to 147, Jalan Radin Bagus at anytime between 11am-11pm (though it's not recommended that you drop in at lunch or dinner hour). As for telephone numbers, I only have the GM's mobile number and not the boss's mobile number.

See you in, what, another couple of weeks' time? I dunno. I just know that I'm looking forward to Saturday. =)

Open houses~~

CNY is a real big thing among Malaysian people, especially the Chinese, and some of them actually make the effort to invite, cook for and entertain an entire crowd (and I mean this literally) in their own home.

My dad's ex-colleague (and family friend) has a CNY 'ritual' - open house every time CNY comes around. Usually the crowd would be the family, their cousins, the neighbors, the staff and the ex-Memory Lane crowd. The house would be filled with yells and chatter as most crowd around the teak dining table for the annual gambling rounds, while others would sit by the pond or on the porch, eating snacks and chatting the night away.

This year was slightly different as the crowd was slightly different - the host didn't invite staff or the Memory Lane crowd. Take note that she cooks most of the food herself (around 10 dishes this year) and makes the effort to entertain any and everyone.

Today's Look of the Day (evening, to be exact) ! T-shirt from F.O.S., jeans, silver wedges from Nose, dark chrome multi-strand necklace from Colours, rings from IsIs and silver hoop earrings from Sinma. The theme was supposed to be toned-down glam rock, but the end results just looked a tad ... weird.

I'll do a detailed entry of the makeup later on, together with the rainbow makeup I did on Feb 3rd. I almost made a mess of this particular look, because my hands got itchy and I used something I haven't used before. Not a wise thing to do especially when you're caught for time.

The open house was basically uneventful - without the typical Memory Lane crowd, things were not as interesting and exciting. And I find the kids there a little too Gossip Girl-oriented - mature white chiffon dresses with thick belts.

This morning went to Mid Valley (again) and headed straight to the cinema. We decided on a movie and as I waited in line they checked out other stuff. Suddenly they called me out of line saying that they already got the tickets. I'm like ... EFF!! After standing there for so long in a cloud of stifling carbon dioxide, now you tell me you got the tickets?!

Then I asked to go into Jusco to find an inexpensive white shirt, immediately I was knocked down, saying that just for the job I'm getting a white shirt and working as a waitress I'm bound to get it stained and that would be bummer. It sucks being stuck in the middle.

Anyways, we looked at fridges and coffee makers before actually going shopping. What I needed (and wanted) was tea tree oil, 'cause I've only got a few drops more till I'm out. We went for a shopping spree - the total purchase summed up to around RM400! I signed up for a membership and now I have an RM40 voucher waiting to be used~~~

Before that they made a stop at Guardian pharmacy, and I wanted to get some stringy accessories. I lost my black ankle string a while back and didn't actually get round to purchasing it. And there were some pretty blue strings there, so I got a blue one for dear. ><

Today's movie was Shaolin, starring Nicholas Tse
, Andy Lau and a special appearance by Jackie Chan. The story tells about this general (Andy Lau) who fell from power after being betrayed by his junior (Nicholas Tse) and had his daughter killed in the turmoil. He then joined the Shaolin clan and learned their ways.

It would be a nice movie if you liked action, martial arts genres with a large spoonful of tear-jerking scenes. The whole movie was nice, except the few times when one stupid bitch was opening and closing the door (I was sitting at the last row, beside the emergency exit) and always didn't close it properly.

We had a last round of McD's sundaes then went home. A while after we got home it suddenly started raining, so I just played a bit with dad's iPad, and I found a game called Pizza Sudoku Supreme. The principles of the game are exactly the same, but the digits are replaces with pizza toppings like bacon, cheese, tomatoes and olives.

Right now I'm squeezing whatever brain juice I have trying to think of what to get for Valentine's. =x In a way, I find that guys are harder to shop for than girls - girls usually would accept most stuff you give them; guys are a little more ... sensitive to ego-break. =P

HAPPY CNY !!!

Feb 3 is officially the first day of the rabbit year in the Chinese lunar calendar. Traditions are abundant - prayers for a good year ahead, distributing of red packets which contains lucky money, reunion dinner for the entire family on the day before and doing whatever cleaning on the day before (superstition states that cleaning [sweeping] the house on CNY day is equal to sweeping away your luck and fortune).

My pre-CNY day was tiresome - housework and helping out with whoever and whatever I can. Then at night we had rosé, watched Hellboy 2, chatted for a while, then most of the people went to sleep, while I stayed up with the iPad playing Mahjong with my aunt and applying a mask. =P

We finally decided to sleep at 4am, me knowing full well that my mum would most likely get up about 2 hours later to help her with the vegetarian dish cooking. But she let me sleep till my dad and uncle started talking loudly and my 'first cousin once removed' started bawling, which was around 8-9am.

I waited for the bathroom, had my vegetarian breakfast (my mum's vegetarian dish is best!) then took my bath in preparation for the lunch we were going to have with my dad's side relatives. I was mad nervous about messing up my makeup, 'cause the yellows tend to be less obvious on my yellow-toned skin. But here it is, a major success ! I'll get to the face chart and product list later. =/

My outfit for the day was a slightly Asian-style corporate-ish dress in pale pink with a belt matched with strappy blue 4 1/2 inch wedges. Uh... The dress was a little loose in the bosom area and the belt was too long, but it was stretchy and comfy~ My legs look mad fat. =P

Lunch was at a Chinese restaurant located in a rather secluded area in Damansara Kim. The food was good, as opposed to the restaurant we usually went to in Bandar Utama. Seems thing are looking up for the entire family - a baby is on the way and everybody's upgrading their lifestyles.

After finishing lunch, we headed to my dad's godmother's place in Wangsa Maju. By the time he arrived the whole crowd of younger people were gambling. The adults were basically just hanging around, eating CNY snacks and distributing red packets.

To be honest, the visit there was boring - we basically didn't fit in with the rest of the 'kids', and there weren't many adults who would have the interest to talk to us, so we just sat and watched Sandra Ng's old comedies.

I didn't use my false lashes for the look today. I actually think that such striking colors AND with false lashes would be a little too dramatic for day wear. So I just opted for some mascara (though I think it's starting to dry up). Plus, there wasn't enough time for me to slowly experiment, whether for the new or older pair.

Like a typical exam essay

Those who went to Chinese primary schools in Malaysia would most probably remember the essay exercises we were sometimes given - 最倒霉的一天. Basically it translates into 'the unluckiest day'. So your content should include something like getting up late for school, wearing the wrong shoes, taking the wrong school bag, being chased down the street by the mangy stray, arriving at school and discovering that it was a school holiday. Something like that.

You could add as many unlucky things as you like, including stepping on dog crap and have a hateful pigeon shit on your head. Or when you arrive at school, you suddenly remember that there's actually a test today. So on and so forth.

So.

Yesterday was something similar to that kinda essays, but slightly less ... dramatic. I woke up in the morning, remembering that my sister had complained that her brows have overgrown slightly. So naturally I (the brow-shaping pro in the house XD) would be the one to help her trim them. I got shot down by my mum.

It's something like Russell Peters said, 'Have you ever felt your penis invert?' Except for the fact that I lack a penis but I still have an ego. Talk about pouring cold water over my confidence. The reason why they see me fiddling with my brows all the time is because stray hairs keep growing.

After that I ate brunch then had some online time. Before I was able to complete everything my dad called me down to be his 'electrical assistant', and today's lesson was light socket diagnosis. Basically you test the different parts of the light to see which part is faulty and replace it.

After finishing that diagnosis, we then moved on to light cleaning. 13 years ago when my parents bought our current house, they opted for the on-promotion lights, with 7 glass components and 8 bulbs. We just washed up the removable parts then replaced them.

Before all that was the vacuuming and mopping of the upstairs floor. We had family coming over for a couple of days, so the floor should be free of any dirt or whatnot. Then we had to move the preposterously huge king-size mattress from my mum's room to a space upstairs as to accommodate a couple of people.

Then after all that was done, Yuriko said that we were meeting up with Yiee who just came back from NS for the CNY holidays. Venue? Kinrara Curry House aka mamak. I was like ... huh? Even if you were to choose a mamak, why not choose Mirasaa instead?

Anyways, Yiee came to my house and we walked out together. I made a detour to Taiwan DAMI to inquire some terms about my employment (I'm starting work on February 7th!), but I found it closed.

We walked to The Store where Yuriko was waiting, then Yeanchi called to say that she was at the numbered pan mee stall right outside of The Store. I was like ... huh? Again. But majority preferred pan mee to mamak food. We first got some bubble tea, ate our noodles, then started shopping for collared T-shirts.

I bought (much to my mum's surprise) another pair of false lashes. Dunno how long they will last, dunno how good the quality is, but for RM1 per pair, it was tempting. XD They got their collared T-shirts (aka Polo shirts), then we walked around till we were at the Yamaha junction going into the food area.

For the love of God! Can't he just disappear off the surface of the earth?! And to let me see him! I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I pushed that out of mind, 'cause we were then all standing at a DVD stall choosing and haggling. We all got Korean dramas, for RM5 per disc. It's even cheaper than my mum's DVDs. XD I got the new Jang Geunsuk drama - Marie something... =P

My mission to seek out a nice shirt was unsuccessful - all the shirts at the pasar malam were men's cut. And those at The Store were havoc. So I think I'll just wait for someone to go out sometime then get one or two shirts, or perhaps shorter lengthed trench dresses of some sort.

In total, we visited 5 stalls (Polo shirts, DVDs, wallets, accessories x2) and lingered at each stall for around 10-15 minutes. And I only bought something at one of the stalls. Why take so long? I tell you, guys - women are indecisive creatures when it comes to shopping (most of the time). It just depends on how long they spend being indecisive.

Girls like me do all the research I want, find it, choose the color, size and cutting, price check - it can be done under 5 minutes. I seriously dunno why some girls can take up to a half hour in a shop deciding on a few items that sometimes look just as hideous.

I have a hunch that you're thinking - 'what's so unlucky about the day?' I'll tell you this - any day that I even see his back is an unlucky day. And to see him just before CNY. @#$%^&* !!!!!!!

Right now my house is jam-packed - 16 people under one roof. I'm so not used to 16 voices conversing at once. And then there's the baby girl~ Previously she'd just fall into my arms and let me snuggle her. I think it's because the long time of alienation, and the sudden increase of people. Oh well, I'll just have to keep trying. XD
