Junko Furuta is the Japanese girl who was kidnapped, tortured for 44 days and "accidentally killed" by four boys in 1988. She was 16. These men who tortured her served less than 10 years in prison due to their statuses as "juveniles" at that time, and they are now free men walking around Japan, two who have changed their names.
