就像Selena Gomez的《A Year Without Rain》里面的歌词说:“... a day without you is like a year without rain ...”。

Song of the week: Hate That I Love You - Ne-Yo & Rihanna

I shall be posting a song of the week every end of a week, to sum up how I describe my week. =)

This basically describes what I'm feeling now, and the lyrics are so right.

So much for ...

... having my C6-00 repaired. It's been having these problems - every time there's a new message there's no ringtone, vibration or notification whatsoever except for the blinking light. So we had it sent to the Nokia Care Centre at Times Square, and only then did I find out that it had to stay for at least one week, and someone didn't tell me.

That phone is basically the only other thing I revolve around other than him, 'cause it's my planner, entertainment, portable internet, camera, and most importantly it took around 45% of my salary. Hello? I would've appreciated some prior notice. =P

Anyway Kungfu Panda 2 was cute, and I had a Sausage and Egg McMuffin and a Oreo Cappucino Blog with black pearls for lunch. XD Coming back sucked, 'cause the stupid bus driver of the T418 bus was masturbating or something, anyway she wasn't on the bus, and the doors were closed, and mosquitoes were feasting. Fuck 'em.

Cookbooks~

Just borrowed a couple of cookbooks yesterday from Taylor's library. One of soups and stews and the other French cuisine for *ahem* romantic dining. =^^= Had started to type out the parts that I want last night - 4 pages in 1 hour, and the text is pretty small. Good way to practice my touch typing. XD

Had a shepherd's pie at The V yesterday, and it came out this morning undigested. A few other times to the bathroom later produced blended spinach-like stool. Yeah, I know it's gross but I'll write it anyway.

I always have this illusion that I'm actually a fairly well-known blogger in Malaysia, and though I'm not I'd like to keep thinking that, it gives me a drive to post stuff. Other than a plea for publicity, it's also a way that I can document my life. So every once in a while I'll go through my past posts and wonder 'why the hell did I do that?', things like that.

Another pic-less post

I finally found my C6-00 USB cable, turns out it was snugly stored in the original box along with the manual and warranty card. ==! So now I can finally post pics!! BUT!!! (There's always a 'but' to these statements =P) it turns out my laptop's charging point is loose, so it had to be sent back to Acer for repair (thank god for warranties XD). I have no idea how long it's gonna take, but what the hell.

Sunday was 'filming food documentary' day for Crystal, Su and moi. Destination: Sungei Wang Plaza. Makeup? Accentuating brown shadow (Maybelline Trio Eyeshadow in Three Chocolate) and close-to-perfect winged liner. I finally ditched my Elianto Stay-On liquid liner 'cause the packaging was failing on me and now I'm using REVLON'S!!! I love it! Contrary to Elianto's it-dries-filmy-and-shiny formula, this one works like a marker and is what I think good liquid liners should be. XD

As much as I'm desperate to blog about our activities that day, I shall not 'cause supposedly there are some other groups who are doing the same thing but haven't gone round to doing it yet. This is solely to prevent the big P - PLAGIARISM. I'll keep you updated anyway, but I had a real look under all the self-confidence and outgoing-ness of both of my group mates, and I can say that I'm actually quite lucky.

I gotta say, I've found a Taiwanese restaurant that tastes a lot better than Taiwan DAMI. Yes I know this is betrayal, but this is my blog, so I'm entitled to expressing my own views. =P That being said, these are solely my own opinions and does not represent anyone else's thank you very much. Two DAMI specialties - 'Sun Bei' chicken rice and braised pork rice, are also the specialties of Formosa, and I personally prefer the Formosa versions of both. =X The drinks were honestly also better.

Two presentations tomorrow - Moral and IMW. Drake has done the entire group the liberty of doing everything for us, all we have to do is present it accordingly. As for IMW, I only started looking for points this morning, when I had all weekend to do it.

I know why Equitrac blocked me now, the system works on a credit basis. I had too many things and insufficient credit, thus the error code 016-560. =P I topped up, and there goes my RM5. T__T I'll need to borrow 90sen today, guys. =X

This time, I'm not gonna plan anything on Friday to avoid any more crying-myself-to-sleep nights. He's gonna plan everything, and tell me only on Thursday, so I won't get any hopes up.

One by one

Movie review assignment done, shall upload it to SafeAssign shortly. Music video presentation due in MA tutorial today, so is the basics of our blogshop link for IMC. For IMW I (we) still need to wait for the books to be photocopied. My pre-planned driving test has been cancelled for a fine of RM70. I have no idea why my mum agreed to that. @@

Less and less sleep

For some reason I'm sleeping later and later these days, crying more too.

It's official, I'm having my driving test on the 21st, which so coincidentally clashed with the Astro trip day that I signed up for. The permission form was due yesterday and I didn't bring the thing anyway so I'll just skip that. =P

Assignments due. Gained weight. So.

  • Grow out hair.
  • Improve makeup skills.
  • Save money.
  • Eat breakfast, skip dinner.
  • Lose weight.
  • Exercise more.
  • Use more facial masks.
  • Clip up hair at home.

Another post of randomness

As determined, I slept pretty early last night ... unintentionally. =X I was just lying on my pillow then ... *snooze*, right until the next morning.

I must have been in an awkward position last night, 'cause my spine is hurting again. Somehow I feel as if it's gonna snap at any moment. @@

The Ultimate Frozen Yogurt Challenge!!!

Well it's not a contest, it's just ... well ... a challenge.

By the way lunch today was pasta at Temptations. Nice but a little lacking in salt, and I don't think kosher salt should be in salt shakers. @@

Now to the challenge. Everyday from 12-2pm, Snogurt @ Taylor's Lakeside Campus has a promotional happy hour. For RM3, you get a small cup and your choice of amount of frozen yogurt in ONE flavor only without toppings. So the challenge: to pile up as much yogurt as you can in one small cup without having it topple over. Think you can do it? It's not as easy as it sounds, especially if the yogurt is a little runny. XD

~~~
I'm gonna need a new Doraemon bag soon. Doraemon meaning it's so huge it's almost like Doraemon's magic pouch~ XD The strap is slowly detaching at the seam and the inner lining made me think that my bag magically produced yet another compartment. @@
Re:style at The Boardwalk has finally (assumed) hired a manicurist. I CAN FINALLY GET MY FRENCH MANICURE!!! Or should I? RM10 but I dunno how long it would last. =P
I. MUST. SLEEP. EARLY. TONIGHT.
I would get sued for this, but what the hell
Being a Muslim woman This was written by a woman born in Egypt as a Muslim. This is not hearsay, and it will scare you. Make sure you read the paragraph (in red) towards the end .
Joys of Muslim Women
by Nonie Darwish
In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child, consummating the marriage by 9. The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.
Even though a woman is abused, she cannot obtain a divorce.
To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.
Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honour killing) to restore the honour of the family. Husbands can beat their wives 'at will' and the man does not have to say why he has beaten her.
The husband is permitted to have 4 wives and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.
The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.
In the Western World (UK) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife cannot obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.
By passing this on, enlightened women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.
Ripping the West in Two. Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.
She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.
Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza . When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.
But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.
In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping Shariah law - what it is, what it means and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.
For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose Sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.
Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.
While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.
While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.
It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.
While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petrol dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.
In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.K. to elect the Prime Minister by themselves! Rest assured they will do so. You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA . Dearborn Mich. is one; and there are others.
I think everyone in the U.K. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful; some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam, the peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion. While America is getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a great jihad on America .
This is your chance to make a difference...! Pass it on to your email list or at least those you think will listen.
WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS, THINK OF YOUR OWN DAUGHTERS, GRANDDAUGHTERS AND NIECES
These are pictures not shown on American TV or in American Newspapers, but were forwarded by a Canadian who thought All Christians ought to know.
HOW VERY SAD! - Read all the way to the bottom
Mass Muslim Marriage in Gaza
Muhammed married a six year old bride. But Islam has evolved in 1500 years. In Hamas land, in 2009, the brides are almost seven.
Mass Muslim Marriage in Gaza 450 Grooms Wed GIRLS Under Ten In Gaza
By Paul L. Williams, Ph.D.
A gala event has occurred in Gaza
Hamas sponsored a mass wedding for four hundred and fifty couples.
Most of the grooms were in their mid to late twenties; most of brides were under ten.
Muslim dignitaries including Mahmud Zahar, a leader of Hamas, were on hand to congratulate the couples who took part in the carefully staged celebration.
We are saying to the world and to America that you cannot deny us joy and happiness, Zahar told the grooms, all of whom were dressed in identical black suits and hailed from the nearby Jabalia refugee camp.
Each groom received a gift of 500 dollars from Hamas.
The pre-pubescent girls, dressed in white gowns and adorned with garish make-up, received bridal bouquets.
We are presenting this wedding as a gift to our people who stood firm in the face of the siege and the war, local Hamas strongman Ibrahim Salaf said in a speech.
The wedding photos tell the rest of the sordid tale.
The International Centre for Research on Women estimates that there are 51 million child brides now living on planet earth and almost all in Muslim countries.
Twenty-nine percent of these child brides are regularly beaten and molested by their husbands in Egypt ; twenty six percent receive similar abuse in Jordan .
Every year, three million Muslim girls are subjected to genital mutilation, according to UNICEF. This practice has not been outlawed in many parts of America .
Vote in November to keep Muslims-Sharia Law out of Supreme Court and judges, the White House, and politics. People are unaware!
Yes, it's happening in America !!!
GPS
A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken-into while they were at a Football game.
Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included: a garage door Remote Control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.
When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen.
1. The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house.
2. They then used the Garage Remote Control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house.
3. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house.
4. It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.
Something to consider if you have a GPS -
Don't put your home address in it. Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know where you live if your GPS were stolen.
MOBILE PHONES
This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen.
Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet... Etc...was stolen.
20 minutes later when she called her husband from a Pay Phone telling him what had happened, he said 'I received your text asking about our Pin Number and I've replied a little while ago.'
When they rushed down to the Bank, their money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text 'Hubby' in the Contact List and got hold of the Pin Number.. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn considerable amount of money from their Bank Account.
Moral of the lesson:
Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your Contact List.
Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc....
And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back.
Also, when you're being text by friends or family to meet them
somewhere, be sure to call them back to Confirm that the Message came from them.
If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet 'family and friends' who text you.
Scary dream
How is it that I would get a nightmare? And a nightmare of my ex stalking me. Not only stalking me, chasing me all the way back to my house from the mall? What the hell is wrong with me?
PICS!!!
Contrary to the title, this post is not a pictures post. I merely wanted to note to myself that this blog seriously lacks pictures. Not just pictures, substantial, good-looking pictures. =P Unfortunately even if I did have good-looking pictures, they're either someone else's or it's stuck in my C6. =_=
My exam starts at 3pm and I arrive on campus at 7.30am. I have no idea what the hell is wrong with me. =P
Rawr
Seriously, what the hell?! I freakin' lost my flesh tunnel in my own freakin' bathroom!!! How the hell is that possible?! It's way too big to go down the drain (unless some idiot preferred to take out the sink plug) and I don't think anyone else in the house would have such a wide piercing anyway, SO WHERE THE HELL DID IT GO??!!
*calms down* X-Men First Class disappointed me. Usually X-Men movies would make me go OAO *mouth drops open*, but this one just made me go "oh I see". Seriously. It wasn't the usual breathtaking or mindblowing, or whatever you like to use. It was like a "Did you know?" article in a magazine. The only interesting part was this one:
*moves to his left* "I'm Eric Lensherr."
*appears on his right* "And I'm Charles Xavier."
*doesn't even look up* Wolverine: "Go fuck yourself."
That was it. Or maybe it was because I was being tortured by god via an excruciating bout of diarrhea stomach pains for being such a bitch. =P
Um, I'm having my exams this week, but I'm still blogging and Facebooking and watching dramas and ... OH YES!!! I forgot! I just (and finally) got IRIS, the multi-award winning Korean spy drama that *ahem* stars BigBang member T.O.P!!! *fangirl screams!!!*
*calms down again* I hate it that I don't get to drive on highways at 70km/h and that I still don't have freakin' internet at home, 'cause stupid TMNet just won't come to get it done. Can I change to unifi? They say it's much better and faster, but then my dad would flip just because we didn't ask him for permission to change the freakin' crappy Streamyx line.
I have learnt that public transport to Mid Valley is convenient enough, it's the from that would really make you wanna tear your hair out. KTM is always either fully packed or has a very long gap between arriving trains. Bus-wise you have to wait about an hour per bus. So it's fuck Streamyx, fuck KTM and fuck RapidKL U71s.
The 2010 SMKBBSP Editorial Board seniors has finally made our gathering. Neesha, J-Qi, Poh Kien, Kha Nih Tha, Pavi, Jeffrey, Xinyi and moi. Everyone looked more or less the same except for my dear lenglui daughter Xinyi. *eyes well up with emotional tears* She just looks so pretty and grown up already. *sniffs, wipes nose*
I realize I'm using lots of *...* in this post. Maybe it's because I've gone completely bonkers.
Actually ...
I forgot to update about my nails. Yes this week is supposed to be neutral nails week but I was going for the rocker look so I thought I'd paint my nails rocke-ish ala Miyavi - colorful.
All nail colors are from Elianto. I used three colors: Shining Ebony, Yellow and *something something* (it's a slightly muted pink color, I didn't pay attention to the products sticker =P). Imagine a pair of hands laid flat on a surface side by side, then starting from the left pinky: black, yellow, black, pink, black, yellow, black, pink, black, yellow, all the way to the right pinky.
Anyways, I've been to Pyramid and back, and I don't have the glow in the dark condom because ... I dunno, they didn't bother to restock? Anyways I went for a tasteless, sugar-free coffee instead. Regretted. Should've got my mugcake, the one where you break an egg into the powder mixture, mix then microwave it for 2 minutes on high, then you get a huge, fluffy mugcake, but you have to eat it fast 'cause it dries up and hardens pretty quickly. =P
For lunch I had the McDees I wanted, but seriously, even Malaysian McDees is deteriorating. The chicken patty I got for my McChicken was smaller than the bun, when the most I can tolerate is the patty being the same size as the bun.
Surfing Facebook, and I came across the kind of photo that would make you go 'OMFG!'. I shall not disclose who the person is, but I'll give you a hint, I think the 2010 SMKBBSP SPM students would know who she is. She's phoney. She's short and she's (I won't say 'fat') really chubby and ... uh ... she wore a tank top and those mini-shorts for a photo on the beach, striking those "I'm America's Next Top Model" poses. I almost threw up my McChicken and fries.
Speaking of which, I saw the SAME tattoo guy twice today (I don't usually do that). First I saw him near the tables beside MPH on campus, with a tribal tattoo on the side of his right calf. Then while waiting for the shuttle bus back to campus from Pyramid, I saw him again. From the looks of it he's a new student, 'cause he asked Su about the shuttle bus details.
And speaking about tattoos I finally found the reknowned Black Cat Tattoo Studio which is located at Asian Avenue in Pyramid. From the outside (I'm too much of a coward to go into a tattoo studio alone =P), I would prefer the environment at Tribal Bodyworks in Sungei Wang Plaza. I don't know about the price, though. However, I do hope to get one of my tattoos done by Pit Fun Fun (visual kei fan and is lead guitar in his own band) at his studio called Exotic Tattoo in KOMTAR, Penang.
I think I'm gonna go broke just by doing tattoos and piercings. =__=|||
Erm...
Yesterday was poop.
Tuesday, so: loose fitting off-shoulder red top recently arrived from Yinhoo S/B, my boot-cut jeans, gladiators. Accessories: my chrome name-band, the 'rocker' band, my dark chrome multi-strand necklace. Makeup: just some Laneige face powder and pinkish nude lipstick. I only had 5 hours of sleep so I was way too tired to do anything more complicated.
The theme was supposed to be hardcore lolita-ish rocker, but due to the lack of sleep I went for rocker-inspired chic. =P
I've no idea what the hell is wrong with me but I keep suffering from stomachaches and backaches recently, especially after the Nando's food poisoning incident. Nothing I eat seems to be digested and expelled normally. I get a stomachache around 15 minutes after a meal and I'll spend the next 10 in a toilet cubicle. I think I spend more than 50% of my entire lifetime in the bathroom, honestly. Baths, girl's stuff I do during baths, the stomachaches, the throw-ups, the emo-ing. Should I go for a medical checkup? Or should I just ask my mum to get some deworming tablets again then see what happens next? @@
Prestegious as Taylor's University is, it freakin' sucks. No comment on management, but apart from the computer lab and library, there's nothing to do at all. Especially when my timetable is so freakin' weird - there's a four-hour gap between my morning and afternoon classes, and if we spend some time here, we're not able to do anything else. Food prices are actually already kinda reasonable, considering the food prices today.
Plans for this Friday (but I'm still keeping my hopes as low as possible): swimming in the morning, then off for a movie at Mid Valley. It's about time that he's waking up, but I don't think he's be checking his Facebook soon. =P
I think as far as couples go, we're the 'traditional meets modern' kinda couple. It's kinda we think old-school but we do things modern-ish. I dunno, it's crazy, and what's crazier is that OUR 5TH MONTH ANNIVERSARY IS COMING UP!!! =X
Today's plan: Pyramid after class, straight to lunch and Daiso, whichever comes first. On my shopping list? The mysterious glow in the dark condom I saw in Daiso. =X =X =X Nothing naughty intended, I just wanna see why anyone would want a glow in the dark condom. @@
I actually also look forward to getting a hair straightener. And I'm also wondering whether I should shave my brows ala visual kei. It's just so tempting. =X
