Merry Christmas!

Christmas signifies the memory of the birth of Jesus Christ, usually celebrated extremely festively around the world. On the eve of Christmas, people usually gather at one place to countdown for Christmas, then exchange presents, which is one part of the holiday that many people look forward to.

I got my Christmas presents from Takashimaya (The Wallet Shop gym bag =]) and a few others from a few other people. XD On 23rd while tending to my virtual farm, Kenneth suddenly sent me a Facebook message telling me that there would be a countdown at his place and should make sure that I told XY... XD

Next morning woke up at around 8am, then got ready and walked to school for the PMR results retrieval event. As school magazine photographer, I was supposed to be present for events like this, take pictures and all that, but I had no camera and the teacher in charge didn't have the key to the editorial room, so the pictures had to be taken with my 2MP phone camera. =P

I waited till around lunch time only did I make my way home after picking up a few things from S&L. The walk to and fro school gave me a huge blister on my left foot. Oh yeah, I spotted a Ruki-impersonator at school.

Upon getting home my legs were killing me, seriously. I played a bit of Pizza Frenzy, ate some pan mee, then took a nice long bath. Near 7pm mum got home and I got ready for the countdown party, just B&W beach pants and my pink T-shirt. We picked Yeanchi up from her place, then headed to Kenneth's house at Taman Naga Emas. The party included Hong Shi, Pui Yee, Kha Mun, Jo Ann, Ee Von, Siew Ping, Kenneth, Wai Ken, Chiee Leong, Rong Sen, Xin Jie, Zhan Sheng, Yan Shan, Ting Sen, Jonathan, Tee Yen, Kok Ken, Ann Li, Yean Chi, Wan Qing & moi.

Mystery mocktail ingredients =P

For some reason, we went there way too early - Kenneth said 7pm, so we got there 7pm, but there was nothing to do except to wait for 12am and listen to him and Wai Ken jam on Wai Ken's electric guitar. Soon, the pizza Kenneth ordered had arrived - 2 royal masalas, 3 Hawaiian chickens and 2 pepperonis. After eating, we had a round of truth or dare, although since some of us weren't all that familiar with each other, the game was pretty much boring.

Near 12am, they started trading ghost stories while I played with Skippy, Kenneth's Yorkshire terrier (most likely, it looks like one =P) After 12, we walked to the nearby 7-11 to watch birds, supposedly. Once we were out of the house, we started calling people like XY & McD, shouting 'Merry Christmas' as they picked up the phone. We did the same thing in 7-11, which kinda surprised the employees there. XD Mum picked Yeanchi & me from 7-11 and we reached home at 1am, after a short trip in the car which involved a rather long lecture about the things that might have happened if we were caught by people, da da da...

Woke up the next morning, finding my godparents invading my room. XP We went out to MidValley (once again) to shop for the Christmas presents. =) I got my new school shoes, but couldn't find some nice but cheap sneaks like the pair I currently own. Concealer was also a no-go 'cause the only one I found was in Sasa, in the kind of lipstick pack, but priced at RM42.90, for a rather small tube. =P We had Nando's for lunch, did a little bit more shopping, then got some sundaes from McD then headed home.

CK started making a mushroom and bacon quiche by the time we got home. Dinner was as usual, except that CK was busy making her quiche. Just after dinner, godpa came home with one of his old classmates, bringing some ice-kacang home as well. We all had ice-kacangs, bits of quiche and a couple of baths before starting 'Anastasia'.

Breakfast was initially at The Nyonya 'One', but the place wasn't open, so we made a small detour and had our brunch at Old Town Kopitiam. I had a dry curry noodle and hazelnut milk tea, which was so heavy on the hazelnut that it was overwhelming to the point of nausea, seriously. Some PC time after arriving home, then got ready for dinner with godpa's old classmates from '69, I think. We were ready at 6pm, godpa got back at 7.

We went all the way to USJ for a fish head dinner at F4. Godma wasn't really enthusiasted. =P I felt seriously overdressed - V-neck top & jeans, boots, my gym bag XD, hoop earring on my left ear and chain mail earring on my right plus a biased ponytail. The dinner lasted till around 10, then we went to a classmates house at USJ5 (all bungalows, no joke man). We listened to the men talk about politics and other crappy stuff till 11, then went home.

Had some mango, some guitar serenading, then off to bed, although I had some difficulties falling asleep as I had a snoring choir on my right. =P Woken up rather unceremoniously to see my godparents off. Deraisined some banana walnut cake, saw them off, then went back to sleep till mum woke me up for lunch at Yang Kee (beef noodles =D).

Right now I'm trying to convert Bella's Lullabye's piano score into a guitar score, but to no avail. Some of the notes are too high, and there are not enough frets on my fretboard to accomodate those notes. =P

Christmas shopping?

I went to church today (Abundant Life Baptist Church I think) with our hosts. We had hymns, worshipping, fellowship, etc. Saw Unc Patrick, Auntie Theresa (I think it's spelled like that =x), Joshua and Lydia for the first time in a few years there. It seems Lydia wasn't eating well and was malnutritioned (correct vocab?). Anyways, after church we had lunch at Foster's. I had a lunch set - Hokubee Fillet Steak (with walnut sauce~), soup of the day (clam chowder), dessert (orange crepes with fruits and ice cream) and coffee, all for S$16.80. We went home, did a little swimming at around 5+pm, then went for dinner at Boon Tong Kee in Katong. We had tofu, chicken, veggies, the typical Chinese dinner. While waiting for seats outside, Unc TW and I chatted about the cosplay stuff. XD It's so popular and yet I didn't know about it - there are cosplay events at Suntec City every Sunday. I'm gonna find the nearest cliff and throw myself off of it. =P

On to Daiso @ IMM~! You could say that this is my fave shop in S'pore - everything in there is sold at a fixed price of S$2, which is RM4.90 after the exchange rate, and trust me, most things in there are well worth the money. We (popo, mum, MX, KW Unc TW & moi) got loads and loads of stuff, mine were a black striped beanie and my mocha cupcake~ XD For lunch we got a table just opposite Daiso's checkout counters, called Hong Kong something. =P I had pork chop cheese baked rice, which was absolutely deelish, but my desert was more or less ruined - I ordered a honeydew sago dessert, but I got my cousin's mango pudding with sago and pomelo (too rich with too much sago). Grr... We then drove around to a mall near city hall (forgot the name, but the shops there are mostly wholesale stores). We browsed around and got some stuff - I got myself a black umbrella that doubles as a self-defense weapon.

We walked on to the next door Funan Digitalife Mall. We checked out the Sony Ericsson Aino (which was Unc TW and my dream phone~ XD We had some soya drinks at Jollibean (J Freeze coffee soya for me~), then went on to Excelsior Shopping Centre to check out the guitars. The moment I stepped in, I was like OMBMFG... It's a guitarist's heaven~! They got load of music shops, most of them specializing in guitars. We checked out Music Theme and Dave's Guitar the most, 'cause Unc TW just found out that I was planning to take up the electric after finishing the classic courses. We met Eunice there, then drove straight to LTN at Siglap for dinner after a stop at home for refreshments. XD

I had just realized that it was Monday when we were jamming in the living room. I tried to call Ammonite to tell them I was gonna bail, but just couldn't. It was only after we had finished dinner around 9.30pm (the time my class starts) that I finally found a way to call Ammonite. I felt like throwing myself off the tallest building then. Oh yeah, we had loads of stuff for dinner tonight, the highlight being the salted egg yolk crab and the black pepper crab~~

Godma took leave today and took us to Ngee An City for shopping. We had breakfast at Imperial Palace Nan Bei Restaurant - dimsum and such. After breakfast we shopped around in Takashimaya - Christmas present budget = S$50. I more or less only accompanied the people looking at stuff. And I noticed that the really good looking guys (those who fit in my category anyways XD) and those working there and not those shopping there. I think in a way that's a good thing, that means that the good looking ones are actually earning money to spend for themselves and not swiping away their parents' money. XDXDXD

I got myself a gym/tote bag which took up S$36 of my Christmas present budget, leaving me with S$14 more to spend. XD While walking to Paragon across the street after shopping at Takashimaya, we stopped by the ice cream stall right in front of the main entrance and had the party's favourite - ice cream sandwich, with bread. =) I had ripple while others had blueberry and chocolate respectively.

We shopped around Metro in Paragon, godma and mum got a couple new tops, while I was eyeing the maxi dresses. Something about maxi dresses captures my attention, maybe it's 'cause of the length of it... Anyways, I didn't get my dress, 'cause I wouldn't wear it all that often anyway, I was thinking of it as a CNY dress. We shopped till around dinner time, then drove to Old Hong Kong Kitchen at Novena. We got lost a couple of times 'cause the only direction we got was from godma, and she's not a driver. For dinner was really authentic and deelish Cantonese cuisine. Since the Kitchen didn't have the mango pudding with sago and pomelo dessert, we drove to Katong's Old HK Tea House for it. =)

I was woken at 5+am this morning to get ready to pick up the little bundle of joy from Clementi Ave 2. When we arrived at Natasha's unit, the parents weren't awake yet. My cousin woke up to find his bedroom raided by his parents. XD We waited till around 7am for the hot mom to pack everything Natasha needed for the whole day at nana's place. =) I dozed off during the trip back, then slept till 12pm when we got back. She wasn't used to the new play pen her nana got for her, so everytime she was put in it, a bout of crying was expected. By the time I was refreshed mum said we should go get lunch from LTN - cheap and nice and well worth the price.

We had our economical rice (mine was tofu, beans and fish cake~) at home, then spent the rest of the day at home as well as we had a little adorable girl with us. We went to the Clementi Food Centre for dinner - fish soup with rice, satay and otak-otak~! After dinner we went to browse a clearance sale - rock bottom prices of S$1-S$10. I got a tank, canvas pants and beach shorts, in gold. XD

We had little Natasha with us for another day, this time someone else was assigned to go help pick her up, 'cause I was just to tired. =x I had awaken near lunch time (again) and we were to go to Swensen's at Terminal 2 of Changi Airport for lunch. I had a Breaded Chicken Meuniere (more breading than actually chicken, honestly speaking), and the fish and chips were nice~ We had dessert, ice creams, so to speak. Mum and MX had Sticky Chewy Chocolates, KW and godma had banana splits, and I had myself a Frosty something. Of all things to forget I forget it's name, anyways, it's mocha (I think) ice cream, melted chocolate, chocolate chips, chocolate coated biscuit balls with whipped cream and a chocolate dipped wafer to top it off. Heavenly, but I preferred the Cookie Summit I had the previous visit~ =)

We walked around once again, stopping at The Body Shop and Periwinkle to browse. I want a concealer, but the one I saw at The Body Shop didn't have a price. >_< Dinner at Paradise Inn at last~! Located at Funan Digitalife Mall, the food there's deelish, that is, if you have the cash. =x My fave there's the salted egg yolk prawns and the coffee ribs~ Absolutely heavenly~~~

Last day here, so we were going for the infamour DuckTours at Suntec City. We had brunch from Toast Box at Food Republic, then went to the restrooms before the tour. To Singaporean citizens who don't know this: you get a 40% discount off the total amount you have to pay! Flash your ID cards~!!! Althought the tour was limited to the few places around Suntec City, there were actually many thing we didn't know about Singapore - the Singapore Flyer was once the tallest ferris wheel in the world, but is now replaced by the one in Beijing; the Saint Andrew's Cathedral was rebuilt twice as the first to buildings were struck by lightning; there are no rooms in the Raffles Hotel, but the Presidential Suite, complete with a butler, and a one night stay costs around S$8000, etc. The tour lasted for an hour, after that we had lunch at Food Republic again. I had a curry laksa and some stolen pork and century egg porridge and carrot cake. XD

What other to do but shop? XD We headed to Centrepoint and Orchard Centre on Orchard Road for shopping and some cooling coffee at Coffee Bean. We took the MRT home, then had a quick swim as MX hadn't swam at all 'cause of her monthly friend. =x It was Friday and there were some gatherings around the pool - a group of college kids chatting beside the pool and some freshmen or sophomores playing around at the staircase. Splish-splash and swimming competitions with vulgar language was more or less rather common nowadays, but when it came to bath time... OMG... Gals went to guy's showers and guys went to gal's showers. While MX and I were already dressing, the guys suddenly turned off all the lights in the shower, and those idiotic girls went screaming their heads off. So much to giving in to your enemies. =P

Before setting off for dinner at LTN, godma complained about those guys at the pool to the guard house. It seems that it was a teacher who brought them here. What happened to adult supervision? Anyways, we had a lovely dinner, then went to Hong Kong Tea House for a final round of mango sago pudding with pomelo. This round I tried the cream of walnut, didn't taste all that good till I added sugar. XP What I would give to actually live in Singapore - even the guys are my type. XDXDXD

I just remembered that I didn't exactly practice what I should have practiced on the guitar. My insides were churning. We started our trip home at around 11am. Before that KW suffered big time for having wet the bed. She slowly ate her noodles and I finished what was left of the log cake godma brought back. Some last minute packing and goodbyes and we were off. I slept from the time we passed Malaysian immigration, till around 2pm. We weren't 3/4 way there! There were traffic jams almost all the way 'cause it was raining and there were accidents, one of them a flipped car. O.O We reached home at around 4pm, then flash unpacked.

CK came home from 'work' then told mum that she was gonna go for some kind of reunion dinner with Amelia and Wisely. Wisely reminded me of Princess Ai, then I asked him whether he could pass the comics to CK. Initially he didn't know that CK was gonna go as well, but he passed them anyways. Thanks, Wisely~! XD

My dinner? Thin pasta with triple mushroom pasta sauce, straight from the pot. Watched the Rape of Europe till around 1am. That wraps it up. My Facebook photo uploader ain't working, so I'll post the pics later~ =)

Shopping spree~!

In my case, it's a definite shopping spree. It's been a really long time since I've bought so many things at such high prices. XD We arrived at MidValley (once again) at around 9am. The main objective was to do some Christmas shopping and to get a playpen for my little niece~~
We shopped around and had lunch before going to Jusco to get the Graco playpen. There was the same one at Mothercare (along with many other cheap looking, overpriced playpens), but at Jusco we got rebates in the form of points. We went to The Face Shop to get some facial wash, makeup brushes and eyeliners. Then to Sasa to check out the palettes, but the brands were unheard of, so we passed. We got some Christmas presents from L'Occitane, and as we passed by Shu Uemura, we got the eyelid primer (at long last), although on the pack it said that it was cream eyeshadow. I went to Sasa and told the shop assistant that I wanted eyelid primer, what she showed me was lip balms. Bobbi Brown is really brown - most of the shadow palettes were in shades of brown and tan.
Before that in Jusco, we got some underwear and tops. My seamless brassiers (I finally upgraded to C-cup~!) were the most comfortable brassiers I've ever worn in my life. I got another top from T:IZED Ladies again, but this time in red other than black. I have to get some more colour in my wardrobe, seriously. I'm getting a pink dress for my CNY new clothes... XD
We started our journey to Singapore this morning at 10am, after around an hour of last minute confirmations and boot stuffing. We arrived at around 2pm. After that we more or less just lolled around, waiting for the little princess to arrive with her cool dad and hot mom. XD We set up the playpen before they arrived, and the hot mom was thrilled with the amount of baby clothes that mum brought for her.
We watched TV till Unc TW called and said he had another half hour till he reaches home, take a bath then drive to Bayshore Park. I took my bath, then -- MAKEUP~! I know, you're thinking 'again?'. ;D This time I have my angled brush and gel liner brush~ And also my eyelid primer~~
MidValley's expenses for the day:
UNDERWEAR - 4 FOR RM118 + 2xRM10
TOTAL = RM328.93#
I really love my aviators. I wore them for the whole trip today~ XD For dinner tonight was West Coast Mall's Dian Xiao Er which specializes in roast duck. We got there a little later than James, so the food had arrived before the people. I had little Natasha right beside me, the hyperactive little girl~~ Today's wardrobe? My new top and my miniskirt. I pulled the skirt right down to my hips to cover up my thunder thighs, ugh... My 2" hoop earrings and my usual wrist accessories. I'll post a pic later, I'm waiting for the bathroom and mum's gonna come out at any time. Let's hope there's makeup remover somewhere in the house. =P
Well, gotta go, I'll post pics later~~

I had a real weird dream last night, involving Ivan from PetVille and a Kevin Costner-like character, and a pair of blond, British twins. It started with an evil king like character showing the evil stuff around his castle to the twins, then suddenly I was told by some guy to swim to an island with a bright red light if I wanted to keep my life.

Then it suddenly fast forwarded a few years, I was in America with my lover XD (I would like to think of this character as Uruha, but he was blond and sported a close shave =x) who was something like a ranked person in the army and was great friends with the Lieutenant (something like that, this is the Kevin Costner-like character =P) and his dear wife.

On a nice sunny day, there were suddenly bomber planes flying through the sky (they looked Nazi-ish to me XD). We were told to evacuate to the neighboring island, swimming accross the stretch of sea. We (my partner, Kevin Costner and his wife) arrived on the island together and was suddenly shampooing in a concrete stair corridor thingy. o.O

Then it was suddenly like a vision, Ivan (PetVille =x) and some other people who were outside were bring mercilessly slaughtered by Asians. Then suddenly Kevin Costner was on the stair landing with a sword in his abdomen.

Fast forward to a girl's schooldays. This girl was called Andrea and was related to Kevin Costner. She was kinda like on social lockdown, very tough and strong. I'm assuming that whoever who was on the killing spree somehow spared the wife, then gave birth to Kevin Costner's daughter, something like that.

This is more or less the weirdest dream I've ever had. =x

Auspicious day for weddings *blek~*

Oh yeah, it's a real auspicious day. Woke up at 5.30am this morning when I set my alarm at 6am. Got out of bed, drank my morning coffee, got cleaned up and freshened, then ... MAKEUP TIME~!! My mum helped me pick out a top for the day, which happened to be my rahter old green and purple stained criss-cross necked top. After that, I put together a look to match the top, which meant using green and purple shadows. Light brown and brown for the base, highlighted brow bones (white), then smokey bright green on the upper lid crease and a rather deep purple on the outer 1/3 of the lower lash line. After that, a little eyeliner on the outer lower lash line and smoke some purple there so it looks like a rather light smokey eye makeup. Forgive the messy hair and poor color contrast of the pic. Here's what it looks like after around 5 hours. XD

Aunt Lily came to pick us (mum, CK, Sam, MX and I) from our place, then went to Kepong for bak kut teh breakfast at Kim Tek Bak Kut Teh. Fully loaded with Chinese herbs and fatty pork legs. I just couldn't get used to Aunt Lily's driving - her speed ranged from 40-75 km/h, while mum usually drives at 80-90+ km/h if the speed limit's that high. Around 8+ we got to the bride's house, in this case mum's colleague Ai Ling. We were among the earliest to arrive there, the groom's bridal cars arriving right after us. As the whole group of said relatives hadn't arrived yet, the cameramen (namely me and CK, me using Handycam), we waited at a table and talked about Chinese wedding elements, like the auspicious words to be said during whatever, whenever and the things to be done, who drinks the tea first, etc. We were treated to a nice view of drying underwear. =x

At around 9 the relatives finally arrived, and the bargaining and ceremonies could start. I've finally had some real experience being a cameramen - ignorant bystanders who treat you like a stretch of wall, noisy kids who run around screaming and shouting, people squeezing past right the very spot which has the best angle, etc. Plus, I was standing right next to the table with the joss sticks and burning candles, ventilation in the house was horrible. Anyways, they finished up the tea-drinking and angpow-giving rites, then back to the car to head to the groom's place. The BMW was so fast almost everyone couldn't catch up, including us. XD On the way there, we spotted around 2-3 more wedding cars.

The groom's place was badly setup for photography. Auspicious as it is to have the altar facing the doorway, seriously bad for photography. Since it was around 11am, the sun was bright, and the newly weds had their back against the light, and people were crowded around the places with the best angles. Grrr... Anyways, it was all tea-drinking and angpau-giving all over again, but this time to the relatives on the groom's side. The kids were actually real cute, but a teensy bit annoying. Finally, my job as cameraman (or girl, in this case) was done. I sat around in the front yard sipping Coke and listening to conversations, at the same time observing the bride's makeup. Bridal makeup is really neutral, a little unfortunately, 'cause you can't express your imaginativity like usual. XD

We finally made our way home, mum went out for facial... Oh yeah, I finally tied my hair up. I hadn't tied up my hair since 20th November (TS trip XD) 'cause of the helix piercing. Aunt Lily also brought up the piercings topic during our morning chat, and she's gonna know sooner or later anyway, so why wait any longer?

We're gonna have banana walnut cake today~

Obssession is a strong feel of liking or something like that towards something or someone. In my case, this feeling applies to lots of stuff and people - chocolate, puppies, ice cream, cookies, Uruha, Miyavi, Gackt, hyde, visual kei, J-rock, eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners, movies, going out with my girls, ridiculously high heels (which I don't own yet), black, piercings, tattoos (even temporary ones XD), mobile phones, sleek and stylish laptops/notebooks (don't own that yet either), etc... Truthfully speaking, the list could go on and on and on and on, but for now all this is what I could come up with. XD
Been listening to Chizuru, Guren, Defective Tragedy and Cassis all the time lately. Been paying special attention to Ruki's lyrics and Uruha & Aoi's guitars. I really love the GazettE. Obssessed, actually. Also been listening to some older songs on YouTube lately, among them Britney Spears' Stronger, but the video was loading so slowly I didn't bother. What caught my eye was Britney's eye makeup in the music video. I was like, 'Ooookay, I like that...' I searched YouTube for a tutorial on said makeup. Found one by a gorgeous South American lady (I think), who gave a step by step tutorial on the whole thing, stating the products used and demonstrating how to apply and blend, etc. My favourite video tutorial to date. XD My favourite tutorial ever is the Cool Eye Makeup tutorial by Haze Long on BlushBerry. She's updating to BBv2 right now. =)
I've planned my makeup for Chinese New Year~! I know it's not even Christmas yet, but it's a good opportunity to show off a bit... XD I'll try to start planning my Christmas look, but I doubt that I'll have any chance to use that look as I don't think I'll be going anywhere on Christmas except celebrating it at home till late at night. The colours I'm using for my CNY look are the auspicious colours like gold and red (pink, actually, don't have red pigments at home =x). Makeup also needs matches, so I'm thinking of looking for a pink (or near that colour) dress or top while shopping for CNY clothes next year. I'll try mixing green and red and white for my Christmas look... XD
Speaking of which, I should look for a good eyelid primer and eyeliner pencil/eyeliner brush. My shadows tend to fade just a while after application, and I can't keep using liquid liner. It's better to use pencil liner first then only go over the pencil with the liquid (right?). I do have an eyeliner 'pencil' at home, but it's more like a crayon to me. The bits of pigment just break off from the main piece. As for the existing Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in #2 Sepia Ink (a dark brownish), I only have an eye makeup brush as an applicator and I don't have a proper angled brush yet (my current angled brush is what was left over from my old childish ways when I was 10, the bristles are extremely short). I've more or less gotten used to applying my gel liner with the eye makeup brush, but the lines are thick, and I need to liner my upper lid sometimes. ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH~!!
Here's my Christmas wishlist (although only one of them might come true =P):
= Coastal Scents 88 Palette =
= Tote bag =
= Strappy heels (for all occassions XD) =
= A day out with my girlies =
= Chocolate mousse XD =

It's suddenly illegal to express your opinions among your family members.
How unfair can this world get?
They say being the eldest is the hardest because of the responsibility.
They say being the youngest is the hardest because you get bullied by the elder ones.
Anyone ever think about the ones stuck in the middle?
Temperament towards you from the eldest depends on their current mood.
Do anything to upset the younger one and the adults will defend them without question.
What kind of fucking world is this?
Both of them get to go out, have sleepovers, go to friends' birthday parties.
I just got home late from a party and I was banned to ever go to any parties again.
They can get failing grades and just get a few words of nagging.
I get a grade lower than A and I get a whole apocalypse coming at me.
Even my choice of career isn't exactly ideal for them.
Everything about me is criticized - my hair, my idols, my choice of music.
So what if I'm deeply obssessed with Japanese gutarists who wear lots of makeup?
So what if I like black and wear it all the time?
So what if I like my fringe long?
So what if I wanna get helix piercings?

I get disapproving looks and negative comments.

Uncontented might be the word

It's been one whole week since the holidays started (for me anyway). A few friends and I started our holidays a little earlier with a little adventurous trip to Times Square. My helix has done fine dunring the first week, but it's still a little swollen (according to Sam =P). Tea tree oil before and after sleep, then disinfecting during my afternoon/evening bath, which has left my hair smelling of the disinfectant despite the shampooing and conditioning.

A few days back mum came home in an OK mood, but after she changed and came down to do her stuff, her mood hit near rock bottom. Apparently (I only knew today) that it was because my sis got a speeding ticket, but she couldn't have got that ticket 'cause at that time and date, she was in class. Sam's now asking a friend to help her get it settled in Penang. By the way, he's cooking tonight... XD

Godparents were supposed to come this morning, but yesterday mum suddenly called back (MX got the phone) and said they weren't coming back after all, 'cause godfather had some work to attend to. This morning woke up at 7+am (o.0) and tried to sleep till around 9.15am (mum said to be ready by 10am) and quickly got ready. I felt the slight temptation to slab on lots of eyeshadow like when I'm experimenting with the shadow palette while I was washing my face, but thought better of it... XD Instead just a little lash-curling and some mascara, plus some lipgloss.

Some perfume, grabbed my avies and some cash then waited as mum refilled the radiator. Grandma was supposed to be going for mahjong games at Cheras, but before we got out of the house she was already out of the house buying numbers. Mum found some grease-like substance on the engine casings (which aren't supposed to be there) and called a few people, among which were her mechanic, who said that the problem might be and air-conditioner pipe burst. She arranged for an appointment at Leong's Air Conditioners (in Puchong, by the way, give it a shot, really good place =D) the next morning. After a while of waiting and cat-watching (3 rather heavy-looking cats), grandma finally emerged from the crowd of morning-coffee drinkers.

We dropped her at Cheras, then went off to find a Shell station 'cause the 'tank empty' light was on. The nearest one (along the highway opposite Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station) was closed, so we had to go along the whole stretch of highway back to Seri Petaling. We set off to the city centre after that. Had lunch at Nando's before we started to do any shopping at all. How is it that chips aren't ready at 11+am 'cause the oil is not hot enough yet?!

We went in search of a boutique called Bilberry Fashion, where I got my new jeans (argh... I haven't got a photoshoot yet...) in search of more jeans... =__= We stopped at some deco shops on the search. We (CK & I) were mostly looking at bags, tote bags in particular. She needed one, I seriously craved one (it's a female thing... XD) There were lots and lots of'em, many of which were really nice. Unfortunately, I only brought RM25, and the bag I really, really liked (from Bilberry) was RM38.

Mum wasn't going to fork out on anything but clothes for me 'cause we already had bags, and since we didn't exactly give them good temperament, no new bags from her. There was a sale in Times Square where lots of tote bags were on sale (Yeani bought one) and saw a few that were really, really, really (x 9999) nice, and I had the cash, but then what would mum say if I suddenly came home late with a brand new bag? Surely I couldn't pass it off as a late birthday present (although it did happen at one point to some one), so I passed the opportunity. Since then, I've been bugging sis about that. XD

Anyway, they got a belt, some jeans and a nice ruffled halter neck top for my mum's colleague's wedding. I already have more than enough pairs of jeans (3 in total, actually), so why want more? We went around Petaling Street looking mainly at bags and more dressy dresses (oh, those beautiful shoes... ~>w<~), then waited for mum to buy some delicious spongerusks from Washington Cakehouse, got some lily bulbs (?) from an Indian who spoke perfect Cantonese and some flowers for decorating the altar.

Upon arriving home, mum arranged the flowers while CK took pictures of them. After that we showed mum Miss Q-Mar's vids and the Punjabi Bhangra version of Jingle Bells (seriously funny... XD). At around 5.30pm before I took my bath, I played around with the Elizabeth Arden shadow palette that Carol-san gave us and the Maybelline New York Tri-Colour Palette in Three Chocolate.

Waited for the maids to go home only did I start cooking my dinner (around 8pm) - Heinz Iron-Enriched Pasta Shaped with Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Potage. Kinda sickening, actually. Somehow the taste of Campbell's has become a little weird (to me). And although I cooked the pasta for 10+ minutes as per the instructions on the box, the pasta seemed a little undercooked. Lucky thing I wasn't cooking for CK and/or Sam, if not I'll have a handful of constructive criticisms thrown at me...

Hoping for more makeup tutorials on BlushBerry (I'll wait for Miss Haze to finish upgrading her blog =D) and Makeup Piggy .

So much for happy holidays... It's only the first Monday of the first week of the last term holidays and I'm already bored. Usually it takes me a while to get suited to the daily routine, which was waking at 12, playing games, watching TV, eating, playing, then sleeping at around 3 in the morning. These days I'm sleeping at 11 and waking up at 8. WTH...

According to some sites, using salted water to soak or wash the helix will help with disinfection and healing whereas alchohol and hydrogen peroxide (I think) would help disinfect but would prolong the healing process. Wonder if tea tree oil helps, XY told me when I was Form 1 that it helps, but what it helps with still remains a mystery. My ear's now swollen, thanks to my accidental brush with my hand while washing my hair. Ouch.

Wonder if the girls are planning to go anywhere during the hols. Previously Yeanchi said they were planning the go roller skating at Endah Parade, and I thought I would go along to get my piercing since the going-home-at-around-6pm Times Square trip sounded impossible (temptation got the better of me in the end). So I guess I'll skip that one and try to round up a date to go watch New Moon or Ninja Assassin, or both, preferably with Chiuyee and Yuning.

I so want to go to Cameron's with the girls again... The experience was nice - playing cards together, having a nice warm dinner on a chilly raining evening, sharing strawberries, and laughing like a maniac for over half an hour (that would be me XD). Oh yeah, and freezing at night 'cause Yeanchi was rolling the sheets off me... XD

The S'pore trip still has to wait for around a month, and then my secret will be blown. We'll be going swimming, tennis, dinners, etc that requires a ponytail, or there's no way to hide the helix. The secret's bound to come to light soon, anyway, I'll just have to keep it out of sight for as long as possible. Keeping the original piercing stud on for 4 months seems inpossible, seeing that I only have around a month + a week of school holidays (darn, I thought I only had to keep it on for 2 months... grr...).

Jus watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night with sis and Sam. They edited and cut out so many parts that I doubt whether they followed the book at all. Usually the water works come on when a character dies, but when Snape killed Dumbledore in the movie I was barely bored... Searching for GazettE tracks with sis' Ares. Rather slow... =x

Yesterday was the best and considerably worst day of my life...

After a few days of planning, we finally planned our outing to Berjaya Times Square, mainly to watch the well awaited 2012. The party? - Yeanchi, her sis, Yuriko, Hui, Ling, Hsinyiee, Xinyi, Qing, Hongshi and moi. Ling and Hui were supposed to arrive at my place to wait for Yeanchi to pick us up althogether, but just te previous night of the outing they calcelled it 'cause... =x So next morning only Hsinyiee showed up at my place around 9+am, then we waited (while playing with mascara XD) till around 10am then went out to the street junction to wait for Yeanchi to arrive. Since I told everyone at home that I was off to school to help the teachers organize the returned books, I had to put up a small show. I wore the school carnival T-shirt over my black tank with my black jacket in my bag.

Yeanchi's dad dropped us off at the Bukit Jalil LRT station, then we got our tickets from a grouchy 'why-don't-you-buy-your-tickets-all-at-once' counter guy, then hung around to wait for Anneyeng, during which we met Khamun's group of 4. Around 11am, Anneyeng finally arrived (and also after I've took off the black carnival T-shirt and had everyone staring and teasing while I didn't cover up with the jacket =x). Another reason we were going to TS was 'cause Yuriko had sorta a date with his BF. XD She rushed out of the Hang Tuah LRT station and disappeared from our sight within a short time as her BF had already arrived there since we boarded, which was around 20 minutes ago...

We first went to the cinema on the 3rd floor to collect our tickets, then went around separately to shop. My main objectives was to get my helix and find a good quality eyeliner brush, and of course, have a good time with my buddies 'cause we might not meet till next year. We went around boutiques looking at bags, T-shirts, etc... Some of the girls got themselves some nice T-shirts, while I followed them around buying nothing as it will prove that I've been there and done that. XD We passed by a makeup shop, but I gave up the chance of going in and I couldn't find it after that.

McD was for lunch, right beside the roller coaste track... *shivers~* Ling suddenly disappeared for some time while we were eating and returned from the restrooms due to regurgitation of her breakfast. After we were all done, the whole gang went to the bathroom to relieve our bladders and freshen up. Yeanchi changed her sharp blue plastic point-toed flats to slippers 'cause it gave her blisters, while I had to endure mine, 'cause I didn't have any other 'suitable' shoes. We got out, then saw Yuriko with her BF in front of McD. =____= He sorta reminded me of Chan Hoong and Lance - around Yuriko's height, he could be considered short, but according to Yuriko, he worked as a chef (if my memory serves me correct), so that compensated for the height... XD

We then walked around again, and at around 2pm we started calling on the others to gather at the cinema. During which we stopped at a 4th floor stall to get my piercing. The stall worker was so casual that I really almost lost it. Within a few seconds, the deed was done - I GOT MY HELIX!!! So for now I have 6 piercings, although I plan to have, like Uruha-sama, 9 in total, I can only go for 8. >_<

We entered the cinema just in time, realizing that there was another escalator somewhere further from the ticket counter. We watched some really nice trailers, then the movie started and lasted for supposedly 2 1/2 hours, during which I was labelled as 'missing' by both my sisters and my mum, and Sam. After the movie Liyen called me to ask me where I was and told me that my sis was looking for me. Many phone calls and messages were made and sent respectively in pursuit of my location by my mum and Sam and Liyen.

We arrived at the Hang Tuah station and waited for the next train as the first was was filled to the brim including the long-forgotten Galvin Wong and his buddies, but I was in no mood to have reunions. My mum was calling me, inquiring my location and I just told her that I was at Liyen's place, and had went there since around 6pm. Yeanchi, her sis and I hitched a ride with Yuriko to Endah Parade to pick up her brother from roller skating. Then I hitched a ride back home with Yeanchi.

While I made my way into the house, I prepared myself for the worse - phone confiscation, grounded from going out for x months, Internet ban, etc, but to my greatest relief she believed my story that I was watching a movie at Liyen's house (what I told her during the past few days ahd some elements of truth in them, that I was going to be out of the house with some friends, that I was watching a movie, etc), and I only got a short lecture from her telling me that I have to tell her when I was going where the next time. My secret was safe with Sam, the only person I told yesterday during my rush back home.

The only thing now is to hide my helix as long as possible, but it won't be long before my bubble bursts.
Expenses for the day:
- LRT -- RM3.80
- GSC ticket <2012> -- RM13
- McDonald's lunch -- RM8.35
- Helix - RM12
Grand total = RM37.15#
Spent even less here than going to MV... =x
Camwhoring... =x

Chocolate frenzy

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate~ Easily the most sinful snack you could eat, despite the calming and destressing effects and so on. It's more or less these effects that make you crave more, although the sweetness and utter creamy-ness of the chocolate could be a contributing factor. XD
Here's a simple recipe for my Sinful Chocolate Paste. I ate this as it is, but other variations should be alright. XD
4 squares Van Houten Baking Chocolate
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh milk
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1-2 tablespoons sugar
Melt the chocolate with the cream in a bowl over a simmering pot of water. Stir with a wire whisk, then add butter and cook till well combined. Add the sugar and stir till all melted into chocolate mixture. Remove from heat when a glossy mixture is obatained. Chill till slightly firm. Enjoy~!
Anyways, I made this three times and the second attempt was the most satisfying. I finally got round to going down to the Via Infinito below Bevelle in Final Fantasy X-2 to get the Cat Nip accessory in order to defeat the Angry Mainyu in Bikanel Desert. After several tries in several cloisters, I finally got it the first time, but then I met a stupid Mega Tonberry which killed my three characters with a few flares and a few Chef's Knives. Grr... Anyway, I've got my Cat Nip accessory and I'm down to cloister 50+, after the stupid Concherer which kept Megatron Press-ing and attacking my characters with its snaily tongue. Yuck~!
So obsessed with hyde now. You gotta give it to the guy - singer, guitarist, rocker, composer, lyricist, husband, dad ... seriously. And I'm finally watching 命中注定我爱你 - on YouTube, with super-slow loading and rather fuzzy visual. It's a good drama, although I've only watched till episode 4.
I love this look, and it has my fave colors~! =3

Add maths

OMG... There's still one more week of exams to go... Grr... Add maths, the killer subject, worse than nukes or plagues. I blanked most of my paper 1 sheet, my paper 2 answer sheet was absolutely blank except for a few lines of Japanese writing... =x So that is a definite fail... I got, for my standards, alright marks for Chinese, and there's nothing to comment about English... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!! XD

So after a two-year hiatus (if you could call it that since I didn't play it very often in the first place =x), I finally went for a not-so-serious basketball game with both my sis' and Sam (older sis' BF). Though it was a last minute decision (sis just got back from school and was rushing out), it was fun, and I got the exercise I wanted, well, part of it anyway. =P

Today was nice, except for the add maths exam part. We had a group discussion about various stuff and people, and my favourite part was the Times Square/Mid Valley part. Since our exams finish on the 19th and we're returning our borrowed textbooks on that day as well, many of us are flunking the last school day of the year... XP Some decided to make use of that day and have a day out. We had two alternatives - one, Mid Valley if it's gonna be movies; two, Times Square if it's gonna be shopping. Another point of going is 'cause someone's BF is going to Johor on that day, so they're planning to spend some time together before that, and I'm gonna be the upgraded version of the 140 watt halogen bulb... Yay~! The plans are not specific yet, so they'll have to wait till next week... O.o

Eyeliner crisis

OMG... Dinner with mum's ex-colleagues last night was alright, the food was nothing to shout about. The menu - 2 servings of veggies, fried chicken wings, salted egg crab, BBQed fish, bamboo clams (I think this is what they call it), marmite ribs, and that's all I could remember. We were to arrive at Kwai Lam Seafood Restaurant somewhere in Subang (took a long time and lots of calls for correct directions to get there) at around 7pm, so we were to be ready to leave at 6. Around 5.45, sis was in the bathroom taking her own sweet time in there while the other bathroom was otherwise occupied as well. By the time she got out, it was nearing 6pm and mum would blow an artery if one of us were late.

Flash-bathed, brushed my teeth, quickly rummaged through my chest of drawers for a colored (not black) top to go with my new jeans. Pulled everything on within half a minute then went to mum's room for makeup and moisturizer (my nose peels like tree bark). Usually it would take me around 10-15 minutes to get everything to perfection, but I was crunched for time and managed to do it decently within 5. I forgot mascara while trying desperately to apply my eyeliner (Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Eyeliner in #2 Sepia Ink) with a makeup brush... Grrr... Anyway, the whole thing turned out quite well, assuming that I more or less just slapped everything on my face.

Got home, camwhored for around half an hour =x then went to sleep after makeup removal and a quick shower...

One word - BORED

Despite the exam frenzy going on, I really repel studying. And thus, I'm bored to death at home, althought there is a little activity going on tonight - dinner with mum's friends. My life is sorta getting a little monotonous again... Grr... Now about my first time going to a cybercafe actually to use a PC, and my first time was alone. Yeah, this is pretty normal for most people, including OS 'cause she used to skip class to play. Anyways, payed for 2 hours, then was bored for the 2nd hour, 'cause MapleSEA's character page required a 2nd password to proceed. Grr... After that went to Mirasaa for roti telur and teh tarik, and ordered two thosai take away and a teh tarik for sis and her friend.

Sis has been wanting me to teach her how to do basic makeup for the past month (I think), but till now she hasn't given me the chance. She went for a dinner last night (using her laptop while she was gone), and came back with Sam, all lovey-dovey. I was curious, I thought she had her 'panda'. Anyway after a while she more or less explained that she broke up with 'panda'. Ogei...

Listened to some good classics last night - Celine Dion, Selena, Whitney Houston... Love them.

Please comment on my lame camwhore attemps... =x

Final exam crisis

Of all times for my sis to find out that I lost her cam, I had to do it a night before the Chinese exam. Talk about bad luck. Anyways, the first week of the crappy final exams are finally over. There's chem on Monday, and I'm already dead with History, I left 90% of my subjective and essay paper blank.

I hate exams...

Gotta save up for new cam for sis. Gotta give her the SD card soon, preferably today... =x

Bio + trouble + makeup attempt #4

How is it that my life became so freakin' complicated (although not as complicated compared to some others' lives) in such a short year?! Anyway, the form 4 Science classes were obsessing over the frog dissection project that was supposed to be 'wajib' for all science classes... Great. The idea of even touching a frog (dead, alive, or sedated) was revolting to me, not to mention cutting it open and examining it's insides... Ugh...
During our time, Yean Chi did everything with a little assistance from Jen Win... Sheau Hui, Hin Ling & me stood at the sidelines filming the approx. half hour torment on my guts and the frog, although it was already dead. Bless it's soul. Moving on.

According to YS, her school's charity sale would most likely be on the coming Friday. Her 'group' was to sell ice-blended drinks, stickers, stationery and miscellaneous stuff like handphone pouches. We went to Petaling Street today at around 9am and I more or less finally understood why my mum sorta despised KL City Centre. The traffic, pedestrians, the shops, the humidity and CO filled air. There were lots of constructions going around, so we parked in front of Central Market then walked to Petaling Street and more or less explored the shop around it.

First shop we stopped at (outside, actually) was a shop selling belly-dancing outfits (or so it seems). We walked along the dark paths, as you may call them, skimming through the shops looking for something that might be of interest to us, or something like that. We stopped at a fashion boutique, as my mum had spotted a nice sequined sleeveless top, but after further inspection, she decided against purchasing it 'cause the colors weren't really nice and there was something else that I didn't catch. YS and I skimmed through the clothes there. My main shopping objective now is to look for stylish (not 'aunty') long T-shirts that I could wear without getting negative comments from my friends, although my mum and aunts would tell me not to succumb to peer pressure.

We tried jeans, got jeans, then got out of there. We discovered the Washington Cake House that sold our (my) fave sponge rusks. We went around looking for wholesale shops to get YS's stuff. We landed at a few, but decided against the first one 'cause it just wasn't worth it. From the second one we got phone bags & pencil cases. Buy 36 units get everything for RM1 each. After walking around for a little bit, we finally found out initial destination - Nu Lycie wholesale emporium (most likely). We found the stickers. RM1 for each sheet. After we got the stickers and sponge rusks, we headed to the parking lot. How brainless can authorities get? To pay for parking you had to walk to the Central Market building itself to pay for it. Grrr...

We dropped the days' purchases at home then headed off to Nyonya One for lunch. I have officially fallen in love with nyonya food~~~

I have experimented with makeup, again. This time I tried to use a color combination of lilac and pink instead of just one color, and some applied on the lower lash line. And this time I added some eyeliner. My attempt this time produced 2 results:

1. Color lids with light brown shadow from Maybelline's Eyeshadow Trio palette in Three Chocolate.

2. Apply dark brown and blend. Dab on a light layer of shimmer from the Three Chocolate palette. Rub inner-V of eye with a little shimmer.

4. Using small angled-brush, apply pink eyeshadow starting from the centre of the upper lashline so that the color still shows when your eye is fully open. Wing at the outer corner of the eye if desired.

5. Using small angled-brush, apply lilac eyeshadow from the inner corner of the upper lashline, blending with the pink.

6. Apply lilac eyeshadow on the outer lower lashline, following the wing of the pink.

7. Using liquid liner, draw the thinnest lines possible on the outer upper and lower lashlines.

8. Finish off with lash curling and mascara.

The process is much the same except that the colors are in reversed places, and the liquid liner lines are thicker (which more or less made me look like a drag queen =x)

Aviators at last...

Woke up at around 9am this morning by a morning call from Kyo. =x Got ready then tried to wake my usually-cranky-in-the-morning sister without success. Got scolded from mum for that after she got back from fetching my grandma to Cheras. Apparently there was an car-polishing appointment that she had to meet, so she couldn't be late. We got to Mid Valley, dropped the car at Cars then went straight to Jusco to get lingerie for sis and for mum to redeem her Jusco points. We walked around the whole place, many pairs of really high stilettos grabbed my attention, unfortunately I couldn't and shouldn't wear them 'cause they weren't practical. Point taken. Moving on.

Paid for our stuff then went down to Manhattan Fish Market for lunch. I had my 'usual' - baked dory in garden herbs served with garlic butter rice. A chef's recommendation and an absolute deelish. Since we still had time till the car was done, we walked around the mall. First stop, Nichii. The image Nichii has given me is - trendy, bold accessories and colors, and crossdressing staff (no offence meant, don't sue me). Anyway, while my mum was admiring a top, I caught sight of a pair of aviator sunnies on a mannequin. When it comes to sunnies, it's either those nice sleek ones you usually see on cyclists, or aviators. You could say I'm affected by my aunt who lives in Japan. I just love aviators. I scanned the racks, finally spotting it - last pair, but it had no price tag. Asked around and found out that it costed RM19.80. To me, this is bargain price, and since I don't often ask for things (like my sisters do, so my parents and aunts say), mum got them for me... YAY~!

What on earth is a Japanese Bamboo Charcoal Cake? It's made of charcoal?
We then looked in Esarli (sis got a pair of thick strap wedges), Spade (sis got a nice jacket =x), etc. Finally we were headed home. Well, not exactly home. We first went to Puchong to get the car checked 'cause mum said there was something wrong with it. Whatever. Waited till 4pm to get whatever problem it was fixed, but for free 'cause it took such a long time. Get a load of that. After that stopped at the craftshop near home to get materials my sis needed for her school's upcoming charity sale. I got my reload card from 7-11, then after paying for the materials, got some pastries and egg tarts from TK.

Got home, let the dog out then took a nice bath before practicing Pearl Fisher on the guitar. Then I got my sis to switch on the PC for me (both are passworded). Initially I had completed the blog post, but then I accidentally pressed something that made everything disappear into thin air. Grrr...
Yesterday was weird. As usual, our gang went out to eat. Today's menu was KFC's. My colonel rice tasted exactly like the chicken-rice rice you find in hawker stalls. We played with each others phones for a while. Hsin Yiee mysteriously put someone's number in my phone under the name 'Darling'. After I got home, bathed and everything this 'Darling' figure texted me. He asked the usual who are you and how did you get my number stuff. After a while it dawned on me that it was Ken Min. I was like, sweat... (=__=)
Later in the day at around say 8pm, Kyo texted me, only that I didn't know that he was who he was 'cause I didn't have his number. Anyways, after a while of rude interrogation by me, I knew who he was and was like, sweat... (=__=) For the next few hours between the first text and me going to sleep, his almost constant texts were the only thing distracting me from my sis's monotonous attempts at multitasking on an already laggy computer. Go figure.
Right now I'm plagued with a constant headache that has already lasted more than an hour, and I still can't figure what to have for dinner... Hmm...

Every thought counts

No chem today... YAY!! Lighter bag, but luckily Chinese period didn't extend till 1.40pm as it should have, so I didn't have to walk home. Thank God for that, 'cause it's raining really heavily...

Although my birthday was on Monday, the girls gave me their present on Wednesday. What was the present(s)? Let's see... A chocolate mirror disguised as a Cadbury Hazelnut bar and a Cadbury Hazelnut bar disguised as a chocolate mirror. The chocolate bar was finished before third period, by none other than Hin Ling, Sheau Hui, May Gel, Jen Win & moi... XD

Today was alright... Hin Ling brought a magazine and everyone was clambering for it... Made styrofoam snow again, this time all over Yean Chi and on Mun You's head... XD During Chinese class I got told off for my earring, then almost forgot about it (it was on my desk =x) When I got out of class (so coincidetally simultaneous with Wai Ming =x), I got my fifth birthday present. =)

Zynga games isn't loading for me, so I guess I'll try again later... XD

The handmade (most likely) birthday card from my aunt~

Here's Jen Win advertising Hsin Yiee's birthday present (almost a month late) - a banana arm rest~ XD

And lastly, Wan Qing's banana pencil case in Yean Chi's SanDisk portable fan box~ =x

Makeup attempt #3

Suddenly jumping to number three isn't really practical, but the first two attempts were horrible.
Attempt #1 was a shot at Haze Long's Cool Eye Makeup ( I did as she did, gold and bronze, but my strong color (a rather light purple) wasn't strong enough and I used the wrong technique. According to the tutorial, an angled brush was to be used to apply the strong color, and as if you were applying eyeliner. Instead, I used a cotton bud and applied it as if I was applying eyeshadow.
Attempt #2 was Emeraude's latest 2in1 Gothic Vampire Tutorial for girls and boys~ (VK inspired) ( My aunt had left a small tube of liquid liner here, so I thought I'd experiment. The results turned out badly. Like Amelia said, we should use pencil liner before using the advanced liquid liner.

Attempt #3 turned out OK, but my 2.0MP phone-cam couldn't capture the colors. This was more like shot #2 at Haze Long's Cool Eye Makeup. This time, I used the two shades of matte brown from the Maybelline New York Trio Eyeshadow in Three Chocolate (my fave palette XD) and a tiny bit of the shimmer. For the strong color, I used an emerald green from the Caelygirl Shimmering Day Sparkling Eyes palette. For the mascara I had wanted to use the Flamingo one that we had (tested Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing against Flamingo, and Flamingo didn't give as much as a chunky feeling to the lashes as Majolica, but they're both alright). The lip color didn't turn out really well, but still alright, 'cause I used a rather dark color.

And a little playing with the liquid liner~

I had a little fun with the liquid liner last night... XD
My 'model' - my sis... XD I don't have Adobe Photoshop (I think), and I don't know how to use it yet. I'll experiment and maybe the pics will turn out a little better next time... =)

2 in 1 birthday celebration

My birthday is on Monday and my aunt's 3 days after that. Since she was in town for a friend's son's wedding dinner, we might as well celebrate the birthday together. Our cake was made up of one third of three flavours - Chocolate Indulgence, Durian Cheese and New York Cheese (from Secret Recipe, of course... =x)
Thanks for all the birthday wishes from everyone~!
Made-on-request plaque by my aunt specially for me~
Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae DVD from sis~
My birthday card... So much for sweet 16... =x
